Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Processor

Consumer Direct Mortgage Processor

We are currently looking for energetic, hardworking and knowledgeable processing team members for the position of Mortgage Loan Processor.

In this role, you will be responsible for requesting, collecting and analyzing documents from borrowers and third parties in a fast paced, customer centric environment. You must be passionate about providing exceptional customer service while offering detailed communication and regular updates. Setting proper expectations and creating rapport with borrowers will be essential to your success. You will be acting as a liaison to our borrowers throughout the initial loan processing phase up until closing.

What you will do

  • Communicate with borrower(s), loan originator, vendors, leadership and processing support as required to ensure all parties are aware of loan status and any outstanding requirements in a timely fashion.

  • Order documentation required to complete verification of application information, including credit report updates, appraisals, title reports, insurance, flood certifications, income and asset verifications, etc.

  • Review loan files for documentation needs and preparation for underwriting.

  • Identify when disclosure or re-disclosure of fees is needed.

  • Analyze all received documentation in preparation for underwriter review and ensure all data integrity within the loan file.

  • Ensure you meet daily, weekly and monthly internally specified requirements surrounding successful follow up, task completion and most importantly customer satisfaction.

  • Work as a team with sales, support staff and processing teams to ensure the loans in your pipeline are being processed with attention to detail, accuracy, and within compliance of corporate policies.

  • Address, resolve and respond to any consumer concerns related to the processing and/or document collection of the loan, as it relates to the processing support tasks and requirements, while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Represent the organization to internal and external customers by providing exceptional communication skills written and orally.

  • Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of the loan process at ConsumerDirect, along with lending and documentation requirements, providing thorough and accurate guidance to borrowers.

  • Carry a sufficiently sized pipeline that will allow you to successfully fund 25 loans per month (once out of your new hire ramp phase).

  • Maintain a loan quality score of 1.4% or less kickback ratio from UW for loans sent to final approval.

  • Maintain contact with borrowers every 2-3 business days.

  • Preparation of each loan file for the issuance of the borrowers closing disclosure 3 or more days prior to the established closing date.

  • Highly detailed oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment.

  • Proficiency in guideline interpretation and review.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage large volume of tasks while providing excellent customer service.

  • Encompass 360 Banker Edition and Leads 360 Experience a plus.

  • Experience in mortgage origination is a plus.

Your compensation will consist of a base hourly rate and variable component tied to your success in achieving production targets.
