ATM Clerk

Territory: Lexington, TN


Performs a variety of daily ATM/Debit Card duties as well as assisting with operational functions within the department. Provide support to customers, bank personnel, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • ATM Operations
    •  Post Daily Dispense Totals to General Ledger
    •  Review Balancing Report to ensure accurate daily posting
    •  Orders cash for offsite ATMís
    •  Reconciles ATM Cash Vaults at armored service
    •  Maintains Cash Management Spreadsheet for ATMís
    •  Ensures ATMís are below monthly cash target
    •  Reconcile off-site ATMís
    •  Investigate/Correct ATM Outages
  • ATM Support
  •  Assist Branches with weekly balancing
  •  Trouble Shoot ATM technical issues
  •  Maintain FB ATM Event Log
  •  Maintain ATM Policy and Procedures
  •  Maintain/Update all compliance required ATM Documents
  •  Complete ATM Reports Ė Daily, Weekly, Monthly
  •  Ordering Parts/Supplies
  • Responsible for Relationship with ATM Vendors
    •  Responsible for maintaining a healthy relationship with vendors
    •  Maintain and review copies of Vendor agreements to ensure compliance
    •  Complete Vendor Invoicing
    •  Dispatching ATM issues to appropriate vendors in a timely manner
    •  Ensure daily files reach appropriate vendors
  • Debit Card Program
    •  Add/Maintain new and existing cards using Postilion system (new cards, address changes, card status changes, pin mailers, etc.)
    •  Verify Card Confirmation Files
    •  Maintain Business Debit Card Agreements
    •  Maintain/Order Card Stock Inventory
    •  Create New Card Programs
    •  Assist customers/branch personnel with debit card issues
    •  Assist department with Fraud Alerts
    •  Verify Recon Reports
  • Debit Card Disputes
    •  Process fraud packets
    •  Apply adjusting entries in accordance with Reg E guidelines
    •  Process chargebacks in timely manner
  • Responsible for continuing education in the ATM Department
  •  Attend training to re-enforce their knowledge and presenting to supervisor for approval.

Education and /or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

One plus years related experience and/or training in banking/lending

Language Skills

Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. The associate should also have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to reconcile and balance accounts and terminals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Must also have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Word Processing software and Excel.
