Mortgage Loan Delivery Manager

Territory: Franklin, TN

Summary:

Primary function is to manage the day to day operations for FirstBank Mortgage’s Loan Delivery department. Oversee three employees, loan delivery to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae and multiple other investors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  •  Oversee staff of three people.
  •  Participate, lead and execute on division objectives
  •  Provide superior service to investors, internal customers, management and employees
  •  Provide training and development to existing staff
    •  Improve processes and build efficiency of existing job functions
    •  Create reporting to provide meaningful feedback to line of business managers and capital markets staff
    •  Delivery out of multiple loan operating systems
    •  Manage multiple priorities and deliver loans accurately and timely

Education and/or Experience

  •  College degree or applicable experience
  •  3+ years of Mortgage loan delivery experience
  •  2+ years of agency (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae) experience

 

Language Skills

Ability to effectively present complex information in a simple, logical, and brief manner and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.

 

Mathematical Skills

Must have excellent analytical/problem solving skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Understanding of finance and accounting principles.

  

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have extensive knowledge in Excel (pivot tables, look up tables, etc), Powerpoint, Word and Microsoft Access.

 

Other Skills and Abilities

  •  Must be a clear communicator
  •  Ability to handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive manner
  •  Mortgage pricing skills preferred
  •  Experience with Encompass, preferred
  •  Experience with Avista, preferred
  •  Experience with Marksman, preferred
  •  Experience with Optimal Blue, preferred
  •  Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae required
