Project Manager

Territory: Lexington, TN

Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. This includes facilitating the definition each projectís objectives and overseeing quality control throughout the project life cycle. Create and maintain a central repository for the management of corporate project management methodology, policies, procedures, and individual project-level documentation. Communicate corporate project management policy and procedures to all impacted business units and work with internal training resources to construct and deliver appropriate project management training. 


  •  Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Identifies resources needed and coordinates assignment of individual responsibilities
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
  • Manages risk at the individual project and portfolio levels
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Uses industry standard tools and methodologies to facilitate the execution of each project
  • Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis
  • Manages project budget
  • Ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project
  • Analyzes project financial performance to include billing rates and utilization
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Business or Information Technology preferred
  • Minimum 10 years retail banking experience preferred 
  • Minimum five (5) years direct work experience all aspects of project development and execution
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP)
  • Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
  • Database and operating systems experience with Windows Server and SQL Server
  • Competent and proficient understanding of banking core systems and related applications
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies and ASP solutions delivery
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute individual and team tasks  
  • Other duties as assigned
